In my experience, there are two major things that makes eating healthier more sustainable. Have meals planned and made BEFORE you are starving & having the right kitchen tools for the job.

Here are my top kitchen tools that makes healthy meal prep easier.

  1. Chef's Knife: Having a good quality, sharp knife is essential for meal prep! The one I use all the time is from Pampered Chef and it is worth every penny! You can find it here: (affiliate link)Pampered Chef 8" Chef's Knife
  2. Veggie Strip Maker: This little tool gets so much use in my kitchen. I use it for making zucchini noodles, shredding carrots for salads, and shredding potatoes. You can find it here: (affiliate link)Veggie Strip Maker
  3. Garlic Press: Adding fresh flavor to your meals is the key to not getting bored with healthier foods and freshly minced garlic adds a ton of flavor! You can find it here: (affiliate link)Garlic Press
  4. Close 'N Cut: This is a great tool for portion control! It allows you to easily slice those huge chicken breasts in half through the middle. Not only is the chicken the right portion, it cooks faster too! You can find it here: (affiliate link)Close 'N Cut
  5. Citrus Press: Making marinades and dressings for salads is so much healthier and this allows you to easily squeeze the juice from lemons, limes, oranges, and even grapefruit (cut in wedges). You can find it here: (affiliate link)Citrus Press
