Season 10 of The Great British Baking Show officially premieres on Netflix on September 16. Twelve amateur bakers from around the U.K. will compete in a series of challenges, with one baker being eliminated each episode. By the end of the season, a winner will be crowned the best baker.
Although there is no prize other than fame and the hearts of the TV-watching public, many winners have gone on to write books, open bakeries, and show off their treats on social media. Here are all the winners from past seasons of The Great British Baking Show.

Edd Kimber
Edd Kimber won season one in 2010. Since then, he has released three cookbooks all about baking, of course. His fourth is coming in October of this year and focuses on baking in small batches.

Jo Wheatley
Jo Wheatley was crowned winner of season two in 2011. Since then, she has released two baking books—A Passion for Baking and Home Baking. She also shares her sweet creations on Twitter.

John Whaite
John Whaite was the winner of season three in 2012 (the first season available in the U.S.). From there, he continued his love of baking with a degree in patisserie from Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in London and now has his own cooking school in the U.K. He also makes appearances on TV and has released four cookbooks.

Nadiya Hussain
Nadiya Hussain won season 6 of The Great British Baking Show in 2015 with her layered puff pastry dessert, Mille-Feuille. Today, she's a household name in the U.K. and beyond. She has had several shows on the BBC, is a columnist for the Times Magazine, and even cooked the Queen her 90th birthday cake.

Candice Brown
After winning season seven in 2016, Candice Brown pursued baking full time. She has a new cookbook called Happy Cooking, owns a restaurant, and shares her treats on Instagram.

Sophie Faldo
Take a quick scroll through Sophie Faldo's Instagram, and you'll see that she is still constantly baking since winning season eight in 2017. She also owns a business—Sophie Faldo Couture Cakes—so maybe she could make your wedding cake?

Rahul Mandal
Rahul Mandal took home the season nine crown in 2018. He was loved by all the viewers and still managed to balance his day job as a research scientist with his love of baking after leaving the tent. His first cookbook, Showstopping Cakes, will be released. this October.

David Atherton won season 10 in 2019 and has since released four cookbooks. He also shares his baking adventures on his Instagram.

Peter Sawkins
Peter Sawkins made history in 2020 when he won season 11 at just 20 years old. Now, he has a cookbook called Peter Bakes with his second, Peter’s Baking Party, set to release in October.

Guiseppe Dell’Anno
Guiseppe Dell’Anno took home the crown in 2021 during season 12. The son of a professional Italian chef, Dell’Anno used his work as an engineer to help him precise and delicious baked goods. Now, he has a cookbook called Italian Bakes.
