An ALMOND JOY Bar's main ingredients include crunchy almonds, sweet coconut and creamy chocolate candy.

TIL I learned that Almond Joy and Mounds are the same, except Almond Joy uses Milk Chocolate & Mounds uses Dark Chocolate. If they're so similar, why does it make sense for Hershey to create two distinct brands for each candy, instead of creating Original and Dark Almond Joy as part of one brand?
