Guo Shaochun, Chinese consul general in Los Angeles, announced the release of another documentary, Bridge To A Shared Future, in the North American market. This film, which won the Best TV Documentary Award, retraces the footsteps of American journalists Edgar and Helen Snow, offering a unique perspective on China's revolutionary past.
Guo highlighted the enduring relevance of the Snows' work, stating, "Today, a new generation continues Snow's journey of seeing China. Through film and technology, they present a real, vibrant China to the world."
James Su, chairman of EDI Media Inc., expressed his hope that the festivals' cultural offerings would deepen mutual understanding and friendship. Bob Underwood, chair of the Writers Guild of America West's International Committee, praised the organizers for maintaining a high-quality festival for 21 years.
