#Zod: A Real Game Changer in Type-Safety Instead of just assuming that something is a string, you can create a #Zod schema, validate it, and infer the type based on the applied validators. You'll avoid duplication of definitions - changing the validation schema will impact the type definition used in your project.I'm not saying to check everything, but it's worthwhile to verify the most important values - those passed by users or taken from external APIs. Just once, at the beginning of the process.Lastly, ensure that the value you're checking is #unknown; this will compel you to apply type-guards (manually or with Zod) before using any variable. Here is the article that explains this topic: https://lnkd.in/dyt5EgkR

Co Pilot + PCMicrosoft recently introduced Copilot+ PCs, a fast and intelligent Windows PC reminaged to deliver better performance and new AI experiences. One of the new exclusive experiences is Recall, a feature that will periodically take a snapshot of what appears on your screen to create an explorable visual timeline. The images are encrypted, stored, and analyzed locally using AI capabilities to understand their context. This means you can easily retrace your steps to find things from apps, websites, images, and documents that you've previously seen on your PC. Learn more about how the "photographic memory" works and when it will be available for use. #copilot #microsoft #automation #msp #tuesday

Imagine testing an application in a secured VDI environment. Armed with tools, you're halted by a grim reality: the app doesn't fit traditional testing methods. Why? The app doesn't run on your device, and testing agents can't be installed on the target system. A daunting restriction indeed. 🚫 VDI realms are like guarded castles, where tools like Appium and Selenium can't use their usual magic. Worse, these realms are created from a universal image, lacking your testing essentials. 🏰 In a banking VDI realm, your journey involves traversing layers – from jump hosts to nested VDIs – all to reach the software you're testing. It's a labyrinthine challenge that tests your skills. 🧩 But the question is: how to conquer this nightmare? Traditional tools falter, and the VDI's fabric resists.Fear not; unconventional strategies are your allies. Embrace containerization and bespoke solutions, tailoring your methods to this unique realm. 🌟 In sum, the horrors of testing in secured VDI environments are real. But remember, adaptability and innovation are your aces. In this recent article, you learn how to test in a VDI environment with an agentless test automation systemand never have to experience the nightmare again🚀👉https://lnkd.in/eBKn88mu#VDI #testautomation #softwaretesting
