These three smoothie bowls use frozen fruit, eliminating the need to wait until fresh fruit is in season. They use five simple ingredients and have a creamy texture from the banana.

These fruity smoothie bowls are vegan and use coconut milk, but you can use your favorite dairy or non-dairy milk. You can add your favorite protein powder for an extra boost, but it's not required to get the perfect texture.

What Ingredients are in These Easy Fruit Smoothie Bowls?

Each bowl contains the following ingredients:

  • Banana- you'll use frozen banana. To freeze your banana, cut into rounds or four pieces, lay on a sheet of parchment paper, place on a tray and freeze for a few hours. You don't want to freeze a banana with the peel on. It will be difficult to peel and cut once frozen.
  • Frozen fruit or greens- depending on which flavor you would like, you'll use frozen fruit or fresh greens. Most grocery stores, and even Costco, carry varieties of frozen fruit year round. The frozen fruit will also help make a thicker smoothie bowl than if you used fresh fruit.
  • Coconut milk- we love the flavor and creaminess coconut milk adds to these smoothie bowls, but if you prefer a different milk, any milk will do, and oat milk would also be delicious.
  • Maple syrup- just a bit of maple syrup is added to enhance the sweetness in these bowls without making them overly sweet.
  • Vanilla extract- vanilla extract adds a tasty flavor to these bowls. If you have a vanilla flavored milk on hand, you can half or eliminate the vanilla extract, but it's highly recommended you add some vanilla flavor.

You can top your bowl with your favorite toppings.

How to Make Easy Fruit Smoothie Bowls

No matter the flavor you choose, you can make each bowl by adding your smoothie ingredients to the blender. Blend on high. It will take about 3 minutes and a few times of stopping to press down on the fruit before the smoothie will be completely blended and is soft serve ice cream consistency.

You can use a food processor to make this smoothie bowl, but you may end up with little bits of fruit that aren't fully blended.

Once blended, pour into a bowl and top with your favorite topping(s).

  • 1 banana, quartered and frozen
  • 1 ½ cup strawberries, frozen
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Peach Mango Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 banana, quartered and frozen
  • 1 ½ cups mango & peaches, frozen
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Green Smoothie Bowl

  • 3 bananas, quartered and frozen
  • 2 cups mixed greens
  • ¼ cup coconut milk

Instructions
