French Bread Pizza - Keeping On Point (2024)

I love pizza!

Traditional, thin-crust, square, veggie, BBQ, you name it, and I like it.

Since I have teenage daughters, we usually have some frozen pizzas on hand. I love the Red Baron French bread pizzas!

French Bread Pizza - Keeping On Point (1)

According to the WW app, the Red Baron French bread supreme pizza is 13 points. It wasn’t as bad as I expected, but I knew I could lighten it up.

This lightened up French Bread Pizza is only 7 points with my WW Personal Points. Click here to view your WW Points and track it on your app.

One way I was able to lighten it up was by using a whole wheat baguette. I cut a piece of the baguette, then cut it in half.

I cut the baguette until I had four pieces. Each piece was 2.5 oz. each, I used a food scale to make sure.

Once the baguettes were cut I put them on a large baking sheet and spritzed them with olive oil spray.

Next, I put them in the oven for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. I wanted the baguettes to get toasted before adding the toppings. French bread pizza always has a crispy crust!

Top the pizza with your favorite toppings. I did two pizzas that had tomato, fresh basil, red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning.

The other two pizzas I used turkey pepperoni, red onion and green pepper.

All of the toppings I used were zero points or very low points.

After the bread is toasted, I added the pizza sauce, part-skim mozzarella cheese and the toppings.

Put the pizzas back in the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

I like to serve my pizza with a low point side salad. It’s a filling and delicious meal!

This lightened up French Bread Pizza is perfect for a pizza craving.
