"Rick and Morty" is back, but this time with new cast members.
Season seven of the hugely popular animated science fiction sitcom premiered on Adult Swim on Sunday, during which the broadcaster revealed the two new voice actors for its titular characters.
Justin Roiland, the show's cocreator, had previously voiced Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, but was fired by Adult Swim earlier this year.

Ian Cardoni is Rick Sanchez.
From seasons one to season six of "Rick and Morty," the titular Rick Sanchez was voiced by the show's cocreator Justin Roiland.
In January 2023, however, it came to light that, in 2020, Roiland had been charged with felony domestic battery and false imprisonment.
Roiland was subsequently dropped from the show, though the criminal charges against him were dismissed in March.
"Adult Swim has ended its association with Justin Roiland," an Adult Swim spokesperson told Insider in January.
Cardoni, a relatively unknown actor from Boston, Massachusetts, has replaced Roiland as Sanchez for season seven.
Harry Belden is Morty Smith.
As well as voicing Rick Sanchez, Roiland also voiced Rick's grandson and adventure partner Morty Smith through the end of season six.
Harry Belden is Roiland's replacement for the latest season.
Belden has previously starred in the 2021 movie "Christmas...Again?" and has held minor roles in a number of NBC dramas, including "Chicago Med."

Spencer Grammer is Summer Smith.
In "Rick and Morty," Summer Smith is, as the name suggests, Morty's older sister.
She is played by Spencer Grammer, who is the real-life daughter of "Frasier" lead actor Kelsey Grammer.
Spencer has previously starred in the ABC Family comedy-drama series "Greek," as well as "Robot Chicken" and "Solar Opposites."

Chris Parnell is Jerry Smith.
Jerry Smith, Morty and Summer's stay-at-home dad, is voiced by Chris Parnell.
A former cast member on Saturday Night Live, Parnell starred as Dr. Leo Spaceman in "30 Rock" between 2006 and 2013.
He's also held long-recurring voice roles in "American Dad," "Family Guy," and "Archer."

Sarah Chalke as Beth Smith.
Sarah Chalke voices Rick's daughter Beth Smith in "Rick and Morty."
She is married to Jerry and is the mother of Morty and Summer in the show.
Chalke is best known for playing the role of Elliott Reid in the medical sitcom "Scrubs" between 2001 and 2010.

Keith David as The President.
The President, also known as President Curtis, has been a recurring character in "Rick and Morty" since season two.
He is voiced by Keith David, who you'll know from his roles in hit movies such as "The Thing," "Platoon,""Armageddon," and "Requiem for a Dream."

Dan Harmon is Birdperson.
Rick Sanchez's best friend, Birdperson, is voiced by "Rick and Morty" cocreator Dan Harmon.
Harmon was also the creator and producer of the sitcom "Community," which ran between 2009 and 2015.
