The game badge / banner will change automatically. Even if you have passed level 8000 you may need to pass other levels before you see it appear. If you notice that even after passing other levels, the badge does not change, try repeating level 8000 again. This may work, also, make sure there is always a tick on the Milestone Badge in the settings.

The badge /milestone banner/ system has been suspended without notice over 2 months ago. This is why you won't be getting a new banner to celebrate your achievement.
The only thing you can do at this point is telling King how you feel about wearing an outdated banner here: Give your feedback about Milestone Banner here.

The milestone banner system got fixed a month ago. In order for you to get the banner in-game, you need to repeat the last milestone level (11,000).

You gotta do this on each device you use.
If you've already done it, try re-enabling the "Milestone badge" setting (including trying while it's turned off) in Settings - Features.
