Meerkat, preferring the nickname Kat, is an adult female SandWing-IceWing hybrid. She is the daughter of an IceWing 1st circle noble and a runaway SandWing from Oasis' palace. She spent the majority of her life with her group of adopted siblings, notably Gila and Coyote, traveling the deserts especially after the SandWing Succession War.

Appearance[]
Kat appears as a weird, short SandWing with a missing barb and nose horn. Her head is diamond-shaped and slanted that feels cold to the touch. She has serrated, sharp, curvy talons that makes it difficult to touch things without pricking them and often break or dull to constant running.
She radiates a weird essence of coldness rather than the normal heat SandWings gold in addition to having sparkly scales, especially under her wings that shimmer like stars. Kat is said to have warm white scales that compliments cold white IceWing scales and a black mouth.
Personality[]
Kat is quiet, reclusive and cautious. She is aloof to other dragons outside of her group having faced bullying and harassment prior. Though she is very knowledgeable and observant, seeming hosting answers to all others questions around her.
She often displays herself as emotionless to the point of unnerving unfamiliar dragons. In reality she has difficulty displaying her emotions and will often not try to avoid conflicts resulting from miscommunications and misinterpretation. She is aware of others' perspective on her and dislikes it when dragons try to hide their negative perceptions of her or mask it under kindness, willingly calling it out. She generally dislikes facades, Kat herself publicly stating her opinions without changing them to appeal to others.

Kat, Gila and Coyote are playing around a claw-shaped stone structure in the desert when an IceWing and large NightWing land in front of them. The IceWing asks if the dragonets have seen a NightWing and SandWing traveling together. Originally her elder siblings not to have no knowledge of the dragons, though Kat remembered spotting them around Possibility's premise earlier whilst they hide from the guards. She speaks up, soon recognizing the IceWing as Winter from Jade Mountain Academy, introducing herself and others. As the two leave, Kat begins to ponder on her identity as she compares her and Winter's scales, suspecting if she could possibly be an IceWing herself.
