William F. Wright age 96, formerly of Wheeling passed away in Elgin, IL on April 3, 2020. Loving husband of the late Alliene; devoted father of Fred (Lora) Wright, the late Don (Dawn) Wright, Ed (Kim) Wright, Barb (Ken) Toomire, and Bob (Lee) Wright; cherished grandfather of Livia, Leah, Rachel, Jason, Jacob, John, Jack, Alex, Max, Matthew, Katie, Daniel, David, and Jonny; fond great-grandfather of 17; loving brother of the late Chuck (the late Gladys), the late Phyllis, Marian (the late Dave) Seaholm and James; caring uncle to several nephews and nieces. William served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and has been a long time member at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Prospect Heights, IL. Having professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we know that he is with the Lord. Alliene and Bill loved being surrounded by family and friends. They were in bridge clubs for years and years in Tinley Park and Wheeling. They loved attending Navy reunions and were involved in making it happen. They enjoyed 11 cruses with their good friends. They loved traveling to see their children and grandchildren that lived out of state. Family & friends will gather on Monday, July 5, 2021 for an 11:00 AM Service to be held at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1111 N. Elmhurst Rd., Prospect Heights, Illinois with Pastor Dave Beese, officiating.
