Leaves the prop open to clean water unlike a normal skeg. This probably means you can run a slightly higher X as you will get better prop efficiency. Might even mean you could run a smaller diameter prop possibly?

River Dave has a thread going on this. From what i understand you can attempt these maneuvers in the videos at full speed as well. Dave just slows it down so you can really see his throttle hands and how they work.

Gotta be honest…. At “real speed” they don’t do sh*t other Than help ya find a body.
If I’m out f*cking around with friends and it’s 150+.. life jackets are almost never worn.
