I would be afraid to use most anything on that car. If I was close it might be worth going and pulling the one or two things that MIGHT be salvageable and then letting the crusher have the rest. It is a bit too far along for me.

So sad.....although the hardtop glass alone is worth the $200....

It takes a lot of balls to ask $200 for that ...
Oh, wait, there they are in the front seat.

I'm with Dave; it's worth it for the glass and whatever else you can scavenge from the hardtop. But I rather doubt it's a candidate for a Concours restoration.

I see quite a few parts that come up for sale in Buy&Sell section quite often: hardtop/glass, speedo/tach, gas filler cap, bumpers, door handles, etc. That bonnet might even be salvageable. If I were anywhere close, I'd offer the guy $100 and spend a few hours pulling off parts. Would probably get $50 from the crusher for the metal alone. If you were really motivated, would be interesting to pull the gearbox too. No pics of the engine, but if it has HS2's, the carb linkages, etc. it would be worth the time.
Working to take the "D" out of DPO since 2013

To think that if it was a Delage, or a Bugatti or any other car of this type, with the same corrosion or even in worse state, we would be racing to fetch it.
