I WAS using Ear Drops to whiten my teeth, but found out about this. I'm not crazy about the 10% in glyoxide compared to the 6.5% in ear drops, but I feel it's safer than the ear drops in that it's made specially for the mouth. With the ear drops, I never used them more than once a week and for no more than 2-3 minutes at a time. I've read on here about people getting spots on their teeth from the ear drops in particular, but they also said they used it 2-3 times a day for 15 minutes on end!! My teeth are extremely white from using ear drops sparsely and I'm assuming that their overuse of the product damaged their teeth and gave them those white spots.

My question is, has anyone used GlyOxide in the 1/2 oz bottle to whiten their teeth? Is it safe to use on a minimal basis?

It has carbamide peroxide in it, 10% i believe. A bunch of people on here have been posting talking about ear drops for whitening teeth. The ear drops have like 6.5% carbamide peroxide, plus additional chemicals which may or may not be good for your teeth. GlyOxide, like you said, is made for your mouth. It actually does whiten teeth, I think I'm going to whiten right now lol

i actually bought that ionic whitening system that was on tv. my teeth were yellow. after 2 applications my teeth are almost movie star white. if you do decide to get it though. keep the light on for as long as you can stand. the longer its on the whiter your teeth will get.
