We use Whitewash Laboratories Professional Whitening Products. They are leading teeth whitening and oral care manufacturers and the treatment system has been developed by leading UK dentists. There is a whitening treatment to suit all lifestyles. These include whitening strips, whitening gels and trays, and in-surgery whitening. We love that the fluoride levels in their products mean it lessens teeth sensitivity. The products also contain aloe vera which helps reduce any risk of gum irritation.
At-home whitening
Whitewash Professional Whitening Strips contain the optimum amount of teeth whitening solution to safely and effectively whiten your teeth. The strips are mouldable, so fit your teeth perfectly. This minimises tooth sensitivity as they are designed to follow the contours of your teeth. You use the strips for an hour every day for two weeks. You will see noticeable results after only a few days and the full results will be achieved within two weeks.
If you have heavier staining, the teeth whitening gel and mouth trays may be more suitable. Customised mouth trays are made, and we will show you how to use these at home with the special gel. Simply wear the trays and gel overnight for two weeks for great results.
Results
The longevity of the results does depend slightly on the individual. If you smoke heavily or drink a lot of tea and coffee, then staining can re-occur more quickly. If you want to maintain your new whiter smile, you can use 1-2 strips every month or a box every 6-12 months. There is also professional whitening toothpaste with silver particles which helps keep teeth at a whiter, brighter shade in between.
