  1. Thank you for this information. I cannot eat anything in the Nightshade family of vegetables which includes potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, egg plant, and goji berries. If I do eat them, then I experience severe inflammation in my legs and it is difficult for me to walk. Therefore, I am always looking for vegetables to grow or purchase that can be substituted for potatoes. I do use parsnips and now I think I am going to try celery root.
