If you’re comfortable to play without Hawk Eye, you can increase Improved Hunter's Mark to 4/5 instead. If another Hunter in your raid is providing Improved Hunter's Mark you can invest your points into Improved Arcane Shot.

Hunter Rotation

The rotation for a Hunter depends on whether you play as ranged or melee Hunter.

Hunter Raid Consumables

The following list of consumables can be used by a Hunter in Sunken Temple:

• Elixir of Giants ( melee only)

• Dense Sharpening Stone / Shadow Oil ( melee only)

• Atal'ai Mojo of War

Don’t use Dense Sharpening Stone or Shadow Oil on your main-hand weapon, if you have Windfury Totem or Wild Strikes in your party. Always use it on your off-hand weapon, if you’re dual-wielding.

To get Atal'ai Mojo of War you need to get one Flask of Atal'ai Mojo from Sunken Temple. Head over to Stranglethorn Vale at 15.2 15.6 to buy Atal'ai Mojo of War.

* Greater Arcane Elixir is a DPS increase for ranged Hunters. For melee Hunters it slightly increases the effects of Dragonbreath Chili and Shadow Oil.

Hunter Stat Priority

As a Hunter you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:

1. Hit Chance (up to 6% against enemies 2 levels above you like raid bosses in Level Up Raids)
2. Crit Chance
3. Agility
4. Strength ( melee spec only]
5. Attack Power ~ Ranged Attack Power

After having a 6% hit chance when fighting against bosses in Level Up Raids, Hit Chance loses some of its value.
