Great Read

Audrey was left at the altar without explanation by her fiancé. No one heard from him for three years so Audrey answered an ad for a mail-order bride. When she arrived at her new destination she saw her prior fiancé with a new name and bakery business. Caleb’s bakery was next door to the new fiancée house. The new fiancé had secrets of his own which Audrey suspected but was fearful of him. He was a criminal and murderer. His brother was seen by Caleb killing a man in his hometown; that is why he left to protect Audrey and himself. Their love was still there but there was danger for them. Much drama and action incurred and you must read it to get the entire riveting story.

Disappointed and hurting from being left without any explanation, she leaves to make a new life three years later only to find her former love! The adventure begins now when they try to get back together, but obstacles and gangs get in the way. This book has suspense, drama, danger, intriguing adventures! Won't want to stop reading till the end!

Historical Western Romance + Adventure

Another excellent Lorelei Brogan book, unrequited romance balanced with the perfect amount of adventure! This one also has a touch of mystery, as our heroine has to figure out what's going
on with her mail order fiancee. It was impossible to put down! And the Extended Epilogue was the perfect finish to the story.

I did notice a handful of typos, all punctuation, all regarding quotation marks, which I reported in the kindle app. Other than that, this was a perfect book!

Jilted. Left at the altar. It has been 3 years since Caleb disappeared from her life. Audrey has tried so hard to get over it. Now she decides to become a mail order bride. Reese is dark inside, but he lures Audrey into being his mail order bride. But Caleb has not forgotten Audrey. In fact, he ends up being her new neighbor. He knows the man she is to marry is not to be trusted. Can Caleb prove he can be trusted, and win Audrey back? Will he be able to explain why he walked out on her? This is a good story, well written.

This one is a twisted mess the heroine gets left at the altar then decides after some time to become a mail order bride but who lives in the same city as her groom but the one who left her. The hero of the tale does not trust the heroine’s groom but what will he do about it will she ever trust him? Very interesting piece with some great characters with action and danger added in. I really enjoyed the book!

Great Story

I enjoyed reading about Audrey and Caleb. I liked seeing how what caused him to leave her standing at the alter by herself, brought about a way for them to come back together again.

The best!

This was one of the best historical romance books I've read! The storyline was different than I've read before and I was sucked in right away and couldn't put it down! So much suspense and danger I was on the edge of my seat! Loved, loved, loved it!

Finding the way Forward

I liked that Audrey was able to forgive Caleb for not coming to their first wedding, and willing to fight for their second chance at marriage.
Reece and his brother had very wrong ideas about the value of people's lives and the importance of money.

Suspense and adventure galore

Who could have known what pay ahead when Caleb leaves Audrey standing at the altar. The bad guys were truly really bad guys and the ending was better than I could have hoped for. Great book.
