Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick turned to fellow castmate Vinny Guadagnino's for diet ideas to lose weight before her wedding.
Angelina followed his advice and switched to the keto diet and has lost nearly 20 pounds.
The reality star called her version "half keto," because she allowed herself cheat days.
Good friends will always have your back-and sometimes the latest scoop on diet and fitness ideas, too. Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick knows that firsthand. She turned to fellow cast mate and friend Vinny Guadagnino, aka the "Keto Guido," for diet advice.
"I kind of followed [Keto], but on Sundays I gave myself a cheat day, which I think Vinny does, too," she told E! "I basically followed what Vinny told me to do. Never in a million years would you think that I would be listening to Vinny."

"[Vinny]'s been amazing and I really appreciate that he's helped me get ready for my upcoming wedding," she told E, adding that he and another Jersey Shore star, Pauly D, noticed her weight-loss efforts. ""When I saw Pauly and Vinny recently, they were like, 'Oh my God, you've lost so much weight," she said.
And while Angelina says she works out occasionally (mainly by walking on the treadmill), she says her weight loss comes primarily from the change in her diet-which she sticks to with help from her two favorite meal services: Eat Clean Bro, a fresh meal delivery service serving some states on the East Coast.
Props to Angelina for sticking to the keto diet and losing weight-now, she just has to find a wedding dress for her fall wedding.
Angelina revealed that she lost the weight after getting advice from her Jersey Shore costar Vinny Guadagnino. “I sort of did half keto [diet],” she shared. “On Sundays I gave myself a cheat day, which I think Vinny does, too. I basically followed what Vinny told me to do.
"Everything just seems to regulate itself out when I cut processed sugars and grains and eat quality meats, fats, and greens for the most part," he wrote. Guadagnino claims to have lost 50 pounds since starting the keto diet. However, the keto diet is not for everyone and can come with some pretty nasty side effects.
So I've started a carnivore/keto ISH diet. I'm eating healthy meat,fish,organs,raw dairy, but the kicker is I'm not really eating many vegetables besides some healthy FRUIT and raw HONEY 🍯 .
JWoww also lost 20 pounds while appearing on Jersey Shore by working out five days a week for up to two hours per session. After 30 to 60 minutes of cardio on the elliptical, treadmill or StairMaster, the brunette beauty would focus on weight training.
Deena lost the weight before going to film in Italy with the rest of the cast “just by like working out,” she notes. “I've just been watching my carbs and running,” she adds.

Luckily, pickles are keto friendly, especially those that are of the dill pickle variety, as sugar is low. “Simply put, sweet pickles are made with sugar which will automatically push the carb count up,” says Hultin. “Dill or salt pickles don't have the added sugar and carbs, naturally,” she says.
Tia Mowry, 42, just revealed a 68-pound weight-loss transformation on Instagram. The Sister Sister star said she lost the weight “at her own pace” after giving birth to her daughter Cairo in 2018. Mowry says exercise, eating well, and meditation have made a positive difference in her overall health.

Her days usually consisted of plyometric work like jumping on and off elevated boxes and an added 20 to 30 minutes of inclined walking on a treadmill. Snooki also added some Zumba and kickboxing to her routine.
She's openly discussed receiving several operations to change her looks, including a butt lift, breast augmentations, a facelift, and a rhinoplasty. In 2020, she admitted that she'd instead “take the easy way out” and get cosmetic surgeries rather than change her body through diet and exercise.
That said, Vinny, who was just 21 years old during season 1 of Jersey Shore, has changed quite a bit over the years. Most notably, the Staten Island, New York, native lost a ton of weight after going on the keto diet.
Angelina only appeared on the original Jersey Shore for two seasons, but both times, she left the house early to go home. Angelina reportedly was making $3,000 per episode for Season 1 and was bumped up to $15,000 for Season 2. By the third season, Angelina had left the show for good.
