For those furiously searching for the beloved robotic hound Archie before time runs out on the final quest before the release of The Final Shape Expansion, I can offer a bit of help.
The final day to find Archie in his current hiding place is Monday, June 3, and the pesky pooch isn’t making it easy to find him.
Don’t forget, Bungie plans to take Destiny 2 down for an entire 24 hours to prepare for this new expansion. And if you haven’t completed any of the previous Archie quests, you won’t be able to get the big reward for the new expansion.
So, here’s how to find Archie in the final quest for Destiny 2.
Where in the system is Archie?
Beloved hound Archie has returned to Destiny 2 after the May 28 weekly game reset.
"Where in the System is Archie" is a series of quests in the Into the Light updates that have been happening weekly as a lead-up to The Final Shape.
And these quests yield a great reward if you manage to complete any of the Archie quests before the June 3 weekly reset that happens the day before The Final Shape expansion comes out on June 4. The reward? Getting your hands on the Blue Steel shader.
Where is Archie in the Tower Quest?
To get started on this final Archie quest, you'll first need to pay him a visit in the Annex down the stairs from the Tower Bazaar.
Typically, Archie can be found lounging on a blanket outside of the Black Armory area, but you may be surprised to find him missing. All that's left behind is a trail of green paw prints that will lead you to where Ada-1 is.
Follow Archie's prints, talk to Ada-1 and begin the final quest.
Where is Archie on Neomuna in Destiny 2?
If you're really struggling to figure out where Archie is, or you're just racing the clock, I'll tell you exactly where you can find Archie in Destiny 2.
The final clue to find Archie is "Archie's last stop. Archie wanted to try to win a prize for you."
You'll want to head to Liming and head north to the entrance of the Lost Sector. Don't launch the Legend or Master versions if they're available to you, and don't go through the Vex portal at the end.
Archie will be waiting for you to the right of the portal, sitting beside a claw machine.
