Bubbul gems are collectibles that are dropped by Bubbulfrogs, green frog-like creatures that love to hang out on the walls of caves. These Bubbul gems can be turned into Koltin for rewards such as the Bokoblin Mask. To trade in your Bubbul gems, you must first complete the “The Hunt for Bubbul Gems!” side quest.

These gems can be traded with Koltin, the brother of Kilton from Breath of the Wild, in exchange for monster armor and other unique items. Bubbul Gems are key to obtaining one of Tears of the Kingdom's most desirable armor, the Mystic Clothing set.

After slaying a Bubbulfrog, it will drop a Bubbul Gem. After collecting a certain number of these Gems, you can then trade them with the monster merchant Koltin. He rewards the player with monster costumes and special items that you wouldn't normally be able to get.

To find this particular trader, you'll need to head to the Woodland Stable in Eldin. It's due northwest of Lookout Landing. There, you'll see a vibrant and bodacious multicolor cart, which is where you'll meet Kilton and Koltin. It's the latter who wants those gems that you have.

Gems are valuable Materials that can be used to upgrade Armor, craft new gear, or be sold at a high price to shops and merchants.

Koltin Turns Into A Blupee After Eating Every Bubbul Gem.

How to find Kilton. To this character, go to the beach just north of Pico Pond in Eldin, close to the Woodland Stable. Kilton will be standing outside the Pico Pond Cave's entrance (coordinates 1208, 1214, 0020). Talk to him so Kolton comes out of the cave, which starts the side quest "The Hunt for Bubbul Gems!"
