How to Make Copycat KFC Famous Bowl
For the mashed potatoes, peel and dice the potatoes into small pieces. Make sure they’re pretty small or else you’ll have to cook the potatoes a little longer.
Add the potatoes, water, and salt and pepper. Put the lid on top, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Flip the valve to quick release, and remove any excess liquid from the Instant Pot. Add the remaining mashed potato ingredients. Beat with an electric hand mixer or a potato masher until your desired creaminess.
While the potatoes are cooking, place the chicken on a sheet pan and bake according to the package instructions. Next, heat the corn on the stove or in the microwave. Do the same with the gravy. Now for assembly. Once everything is cooked, assemble your bowls, starting with a large dollop of mashed potatoes, followed by the corn, crispy chicken, gravy, and cheese. Serve and enjoy!

When in doubt, choose grilled chicken! Since it's not battered or fried, it's likely to have superior nutrition. This per-piece option is among the best at KFC for its low calories and (relatively) low sodium. It's also a good choice for anyone watching their carbs, since it contains zero grams.

It's a tactical effort by the fast food company to streamline the menu. Not all of these items were available at every location, and after gathering data on which items performed well in sales, these were the ones determined to be nixed from menus, KFC U.S. Director Brittany Wilson told USA Today.
