Heavy Armor is a combat skill which determines the proficieny with heavy armor. Increasing the skill increases the armor rating of any piece of this type of armor and it reduces the movement penalty from wearing heavy armor. The Keeper branche of the warrior tree has memories which boost the armor rating or adds other perks useful for heavy armor.

Level and armor rating[]

The level in heavy armor has the following effect on armor of this category:

Thus, for example. A piece of armor has an armor rating of 35. With the skill at level xx, the percentage is 120%. This means that the effective armor rating provided is 42, without considering level boosts and memories effects.

  • The whole Skaragg set improves heavy armor by 36 levels.
